Welcome back to your weekly horoscope sweet trees and darling roots!

On Sunday, April 24th, Mercury and the North Node together in Taurus square Saturn in Aquarius. While tried and true methods come naturally to us, this transit inspires us to confront the reality that everything has changed and it's possible the old ways are no longer working. Two conflicting ways of thinking are battling it out and we must choose what will carry us forward. See if you can identify the comfortable but limiting beliefs keeping you from creating a better life for yourself.

On Wednesday, April 27th, Mercury in Taurus sextiles Jupiter in Pisces and Venus conjuncts Neptune in Pisces. Make a conscious effort to open yourself up to new and unexpected influences that inspire you to think beyond the limiting beliefs holding you back. Venus conjunct Neptune is a powerful transit that casts a spell on your perception of the relationships in your life. This transit can be your sweetest dream, worst nightmare or even a little bit of both. The opportunity to connect with your loved ones on a deeper level is unparalleled but be weary if you find yourself projecting your deepest fears onto the people in your life. This week is an important time to both listen to what your community is telling you and be willing to assert boundaries and communicate if you are upset at how people are treating you.

On Friday, April 29th, Pluto stations retrograde in the final degrees of Capricorn. Pluto is the planet ruling our buried wounds coming up for healing and transformation. Pluto has been traversing through the Capricorn section of our chart since 2008. Capricorn is a sign governing judgment, structures, order, and the rule of law. Pluto has been diligently pointing out all the areas in our life that are suffering from lack of investment in the systems that keep us together. In its final years, Pluto retrograde asks us to examine the overwhelming feelings surrounding the judgements we hold about ourselves and our lives. Pluto transits are here to teach us that freeing ourselves from judgements brings up the truth buried under those judgements. Sitting with that truth underneath our judgments sets us free.

Also on Friday, April 29th, Mercury moves into its home sign of Gemini where it will station retrograde May 10th. Mercury’s journey through Gemini promises to aid us in making the connections we need to move forward. Trust in your ability to make decisions with the information available to you at this time. Be okay with revisiting and revising these decisions all through Mercury’s retrograde in May.

On Saturday, April 30th, there is a partial solar eclipse in Taurus. Venus also conjuncts Jupiter in Pisces. These transits are big and hard to ignore! Eclipses are not the time for beginners to attempt ritual work or magic. This is a time to sit back and let the chips fall as they may. Be aware of how the people in your life are showing up during this season. People’s true nature will be harder to hide.

Welcome back to your weekly horoscope sweet trees and darling roots! It is a doozy of a week full of shifts, mystery and some good ole full moon magic!

On Sunday, April 10th, Mercury moved into Taurus. Mercury rules our mind and communication and until April 29th, we can expect a period of time where our focus is on sensory pleasures with resistance to change. Taurus is a fixed sign and fixed signs are all about preservation. Don’t be surprised if your mind spends more time thinking about how to keep what you already have going, as opposed to starting anything new. Use this transit to tend to ongoing projects that need your time, attention and devotion.

On Monday, April 11th, Saturn in Aquarius squares the Nodes in Taurus and Scorpio. This transit is a major one, commanding us to consider whether the structures upholding how we live our lives are moving us toward our destiny and purpose, or enabling us to repeat limiting patterns that make us feel like we are swimming in circles. How can you establish and communicate boundaries that empower your vision of what your future looks like for you instead of serving the visions that others have for you?

Tuesday, April 12th is the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Pisces. This transit is tremendous. If your dreams have been on an extra level of ludicrous, this transit is why. Jupiter and Neptune both rule our dreams and find themselves extremely powerful together in their home sign of Pisces. This transit bursts the doors of possibility wide open, in a direct attack of what we consider rationally conceivable. This is not a good week to let logic and reason take the wheel. This is the week to accept the multiplicity of life, that the irrational can still be real, that things making sense will never be the sole driver of existence. Life is not neat and tidy and this transit will be sure to remind you of just how wild it is to be alive.

On Thursday, April 14th, Mars joins the Pisces party. Mars is the planet ruling action and the energy we bring to everything we do. It rules passion and aggression, or as I like to call it, fucking and fighting. Mars in Pisces, present with Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune promises an all encompassing experience of every feeling and sense that consciousness has to offer. Expect to feel many sensations all at once, to be pulled in multiple directions at the same time, and run the risk of feeling lost amidst everything going on inside and all around you.

On Saturday, April 16th, the Moon is full in Libra! The Full Moon in Libra asks us to shed all the promises we make to other people at the expense of our wellbeing. Examine the way you relate to the people in your life. Do you make yourself overly available to other people at the expense of your own needs? Do you prioritize solving other people’s problems because feeling needed is where you derive your sense of value? Do you struggle to share your burdens with the people in your life that care about you because you don’t want to bother anyone? This transit asks us to release thoughts, feelings and behaviors that disturb the delicate balance between our sense of self and how we relate to other people.

With such tantalizing transits on the docket and Taurus season right around the corner, let this last week of Aries season be a reminder of the power of grounding into your body and into the present moment. Activities that bring you into your body like exercise, meditation, making lists, etc, will be crucial to stabilize you through all these sweltering changes. Do your best to bring yourself back into the present moment every day!

Welcome back to your weekly horoscope Sweet Trees and Darling Roots! This is one of the most powerful weeks of the year with the first New Moon of the Astrological New Year! Take time out of your busy week to think about how the actions, commitments and relationships in your life play a role in helping you achieve your dreams. Are you moving in the direction of what feels like your destiny? Are there any changes you can make to put yourself in environments that support your authentic self expression?

In the earliest hours of March 27th, Mercury, the planet representing our mind and communication, moved into Aries. It plans to speed through Aries in only 2 weeks, quickly illuminating what our boldest and most authentic sense of self expression looks like to us

On March 28th, Venus, the planet of beauty and relationships, concerns itself with the stern and disciplined realities of Saturn in the sign of future-focused Aquarius. Juno, the asteroid ruling the deep commitments we make, is also present with this Venus and Saturn conjunction, asking us to assess what obligations the relationships in our lives are expecting us to stick to.

Also on March 28th, the North node in Taurus sextiles Neptune in Pisces. The North Node rules the uncharted path of our destiny while Neptune rules our dreams, ideals, illusions and altered states of consciousness. This transit inspires us to ask ourselves if the actions we are taking are in line with our dreams and if our dreams are in line with our destinies.

On March 30th, Venus in Aquarius squares the North Node in Taurus. Take a second at the beginning half of this week to evaluate whether the relationships in your life (including the one you have with yourself) are pushing you toward your goals or preventing you from embodying your authentic self expression.

In the earliest hours of Friday, April 1st, the Moon is New in Aries. New Moons, especially the New Moon in Aries represent a time for new growth and beginnings. This week is extra special because Aries is the first sign in the astrological calendar, this New Moon marks the first New Moon of the Astrological New Year! This is an amazing time to set intentions on what you would like to call into your life for the next 12 months.

On April 2nd, Mercury meets the Sun in a conjunction in Aries. Chiron is also present with the Sun and Mercury hot off the heels of the New Moon. Chiron is a minor planet representing the wounds in our ego that manifest as harsh negative self-talk and perceived inadequacy that only grows in intensity if we cringe away from addressing it.

This is an incredible time to open yourself up to receive clarity on confusing topics. Leverage the courage found in the Aries archetype to face your insecurities head on and meet your wounds with a commitment to be kinder to yourself through the discomfort of it all.

Take advantage of the power of new beginnings and the extra special opportunity that this New Moon’s beginning brings us by joining a group manifestation session this Sunday!
